Growing up, I was deeply inspired by the journeys of my grandfather and father—men who built everything from scratch with honesty, hard work, and a relentless spirit. By the time I stepped in, our family had already left a mark across sectors like salt, water logistics, and food products. But I believed we could go even further—by embracing innovation while staying rooted in our values.
Post 2007, I began shaping what is now known as the ABI Group of Companies. I wanted to diversify and modernize. From baby products and chemicals to television and telecom ventures, each initiative was driven by one simple goal: solving a real need with quality and care.
In 2020, during a time of uncertainty, I launched SDR Restaurant—not just as a business, but as a heartfelt dream. I’ve always believed food is love made visible. At SDR, we don’t cut corners. We grind our own masalas, source from trusted farmers and fishermen, and believe in hygiene as non-negotiable. For us, cooking is sacred.
Through every plate we serve, I want people to feel the warmth of home and the honesty of tradition. As we grow, my vision is clear: to bring the authentic flavours of Thoothukudi across Tamil Nadu while remaining true to who we are.
